New Stuff
The game now keeps automatic backups of your saves. There is a new Backups section on the Load screen, and if a save ever goes missing the game offers to bring it back.
New Game now asks you to confirm before it starts, and reminds you that your old save is still there.
Bug reports can now carry your save file and logs, so we can actually reproduce what happened to you. Nothing is sent unless you tick the box.
Mods can now ship in multiple languages, and their text follows the language you play in instead of always being English.
A new Support page on Popstar Games, and links in Twotter posts are clickable now.
Siege warns you when a break-in leaves your address in the target's access log, and tells you how to wipe it.
One account, one multiplayer session. If you connect from somewhere else the old session closes with a clear message.
Scripting got a big overhaul: scripts run properly in the background, output can be redrawn in place for progress bars, and the in-game docs have been corrected. Some functions now need
await, so older scripts may need a small edit.
Fixes
Saves are now stored properly on disk. The "I lost all my progress" reports came from the old storage wiping itself, and that whole system is gone. Your existing saves are moved over automatically.
A crash or a power cut while the game is saving can no longer damage your save.
Continue now always loads the save you were actually playing instead of occasionally dropping you onto an empty desktop.
Quitting the game no longer drops the last few things you did.
Save files are sealed now, so they cannot be edited from outside to hand yourself money.
A lot of stuck quests are unstuck. Objectives that only counted GUI downloads, files kept on a rented server, quests that stopped starting on long playthroughs, and quests left behind by a removed mod.
The Eppenstein leak now actually publishes on the news site, and the Game Leak objectives can no longer vanish.
Sessions no longer expire out from under you. Multiplayer and
git cloneused to go dead until you restarted the game.If something on your network is blocking the game, the connection error now says so and names what to allow, instead of looking like the game is broken.
Submitting a form on an in-game company site no longer kicks you out of your multiplayer session.

Text fields could half-break on Linux and Steam Deck, with arrows, backspace and copy/paste all dead. Fixed.
The pause menu now really pauses singleplayer.
The mod list stays smooth with hundreds of mods, and mods without artwork get a placeholder.
WeeChat no longer opens as an empty panel,
pingno longer reports replies from a host that is down, and the Popstar Games team page no longer breaks the site.Kisscord messages are properly selectable, and Firebear tabs stay usable when you open a lot of them.
Reconnecting to the same access point no longer lowers your suspicion, which was an easy way to farm it down to zero.
The settings menu now works with a screen reader.
