Alright HotBunny devs and fellow digital miscreants, I have encountered a truly immersive, painfully realistic, and slightly tragic situation.

In HackHub, I logged out of my in-game banking account.

In HackHub, I have also apparently forgotten my password.

In HackHub, there is (currently) no “forgot password” flow.

Which means… I have successfully social-engineered myself into a permanent denial-of-service attack against my own finances. Truly, art imitates life.

First off: bravo. The fact that this game can put me in a situation that feels this authentic is kind of amazing. Real-world lesson learned: write things down, or don’t rage-click logout after a long hacking session.

That said, I’m now staring at the very real possibility of having to restart my whole save because Past Me had better opsec than Present Me. Past Me is a jerk.

So:

  • Has anyone found a clever in-game way to recover or bypass their own bank login?

  • Or is this a known “welcome to early access” moment?

And to the devs: this isn’t a rage post at all. I love what you’re building here. This is exactly the kind of edge-case that proves how deep and promising the systems already are. A future “account recovery” mechanic (even if it’s itself a hacking challenge) would be perfectly on-theme.

Until then, I’ll be here, locked out of my own money, contemplating the purity of my own digital hubris.

10/10 realism. Please send help. 😄

Hey,
I hope this is what you mean:
In the file explorer, under /root/logs, you can find your login credentials.
